Pieter Feller wanted to be a writer ever since he was a child. In 1993 he published his first children's book, which was soon followed by more books including the popular series about Kolletje and Dirk.

Linda de Haan studied illustration at the Art Academy in Groningen. Her debut picture book King & King has been sold to 10 countries.
