One day, Dena – or Deetje, as everyone calls her – finds a letter. It is from someone who misses someone else very much. Deetje is determined to deliver the letter to the right person. That turns out to be more difficult than she thought, so she seeks the help of her clever friend Vito and her neighbour Kevin. Without realising it, she is searching for that one missing link in her own life. The clues are everywhere, but each answer they find just raises more questions. Ultimately, everything leads back to the mystery of her own origins…
In a casual, flowing style, Enne Koens writes about a girl with a deep longing who tries to answer the question of all questions: who am I?
