Alex Berger, an ex-cop and a somewhat unusual private detective, is on retreat in the Italian Alps. The crime scene evokes lurid memories of a cold case. The investigation centers around Suxy, a small village in the middle of the forest, cut off from the world. It is a village of old people, but also of eccentrics and people you’d rather not run into at night. Sara Cavani of Interpol enlists the help of her good friend Alex, who joins the hunt for the dangerous predator hiding in the woods around Suxy. Alex enters the huge forest and faces his own fears and demons. But Alex is not alone… The killer also wanders around looking for its next prey.
