Mannus is afraid he will never become a knight. His brothers have a talent for sword fighting and other cool things, but he really doesn’t. His mother sends him to Elfling Ougus, a mysterious hermit living in the mountains. Thanks to Ougus, Mannus learns about an unexpected side of himself. Then disaster strikes: the land is attacked by a cruel king and Mannus’ mother is captured. Mannus seems to be one of the few that can really help. But is he ready for it?
A compelling story about a boy like so many others: dyslexic, a bit clumsy and not really excelling at anything, but brimming with perseverance.
