Luit van der Tuuk specialises in the early medieval history of Northwestern Europe. He is conservator at the Dorestad Museum and has published works about the Vikings’ role in the Low Countries, among other subjects. Previous books include Vikings and Indiculus: Heathen and Superstitious Rituals in the Early Middle Ages. The Norwegian rights for Katla have been sold to Pax Forlag.
