Bart Somers

Bart Somers (born 1964) was, among other roles, chairman of the Flemish Liberal Party and Prime Minister of Flanders. Today he is a member of the Flemish Parliament and Mayor of Mechelen. He has also been awarded the 2016 World Mayor Prize. He wrote the book Mechelen: Building Blocks for a Better City. For more information:
