The Creeps 1 – Upwards

The start of a funny anatomical adventure series through the human body

Author won the Children’s Jury Award three years in a row for his series Robin and Captain Cross Beard

My name is Pear and I’m a Creep. Right now I am standing on her big toenail. But I really shouldn’t be here. I belong on her head. I seem to have fallen. And that is very strange, because Creeps cannot fall…

Pear lives with his family in a cozy hair follicle on a girl’s head. Just like all other Creeps, Pear is tiny and has four legs, two arms and two antennae. One day, Pear falls off the girl’s head. How is that even possible? And how can Pear ever return home? Fortunately, he gets help from his annoying little sister, Chick. On their way back, they meet many other creatures on the girl’s body, like climbing cricket Tarrel, who has special  instruments and magical spider rope. The three of them embark on the long and dangerous journey back up the girl’s head…
