Thé Tjong-Khing

Thé Tjong-Khing has worked as a full-time freelance illustrator since 1971, mainly of children’s books. Khing was born in Indonesia in 1933 and moved to the Netherlands for his studies in 1956. Soon after his arrival, he joined Toonder Studio’s, where he started drawing comics. Khing has won many prizes, including three Golden Paintbrush awards.
