Aletta André

Aletta André has lived in the Indian capital of New Delhi since 2009. She is a correspondent for Dutch public broadcaster NOS and newspapers Trouw and Het Financieele Dagblad. For her work she has travelled all over India and met countless girls like Jyoti: poor and trapped in a conservative social environment, but with an optimistic determination that their lives can be different.
